We are looking for Development Manager (Design Studio) for full-time employment
Veikkaus Design Studio is a forerunner in applying new technologies and creating gaming services when it comes to design and development of gaming devices, platforms and UI for multi-channel gaming experience. We are now looking for a Development Manager to join our agile design and development team. Position will be tailored based on your experience and competences.
As a part of multidisciplinary team you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and coaching teams in development work, guidelines, and continuous improvement.
Main responsibilities include:
- Leading development teams daily work
- Be a part of identifying customer and business needs together with other units
- Planning and coordinating work with other teams, development managers and business owners
- Developing working processes together with the team
- Bring clarity to the teams and building a common picture of the company vision
- Coaching team members

Successful candidates will have:
- Solid general understanding of Software development and / or Software projects
- Understanding of agile methodologies and philosophy
- Good communication and interaction skills (Finnish is considered as a plus)
- Management skills and experience
- Good understanding in Data driven technologies, Data analytics and services
- An appropriate degree (BA/MA or similar polytechnic degree) or otherwise acquired appropriate competence)
Considered as a plus:
- Experience in user centric design with digital products
- Experience from gaming industry or developing digital products in B2C environment
- Experience in managerial positions
Our office is located in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki, Finland. We have modern and agile remote working methods in use and flexible on-site working spaces at the office. Team is using English in daily communication.
