Timma is now looking for a Software Developer to join their small yet experienced and highly-skilled tech team in Helsinki. As a Software Developer your role will be to develop ??Timma's SaaS-based platform and help salon industry companies to succeed. You will develop Timma’s versatile functions for example appointment system, customer register and payment. Your tasks can be modified according to your background and skills, which means that your main focus & knowledge can be either in frontend, backend or you can work as a fullstack developer. As the team is small, you will have a chance to be involved in all stages of software development starting from requirements gathering to operationalization & maintenance. Currently, we are working mainly with the following technologies: JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Heroku and AWS. We don’t expect you to master all of them - more important is your willingness to learn.

We hope you have some relevant work experience and are able to work independently in a fast paced environment. You are eager to learn new things and quick at putting them into practice. You are an active team player and not afraid of expressing your ideas and thoughts. As a Software Developer you will have a lot of freedom in your work, and a high chance of seeing your own ideas coming alive. You can be either a more experienced developer looking for new challenges or a developer at the beginning of your career??. The role can be modified according to your level of expertise and interest now and in the future. You can either work in our office in Helsinki or fully remotely.

• Understanding of modern JavaScript stack (e.g. React.js or Node.js)
• Skills & relevant work experience in either frontend, backend or fullstack development
• Knowledge of software platform & product development
• Willingness & eagerness to learn and share your own expertise
• A team player mindset and a proactive attitude
• Fluency in English
