Senior developer

We are looking for a senior developer to join our close-knit team of developers at Fennica Gaming who are working with our exciting Games as a Service -platform. The position is full-time and permanent.

Fennica Gaming is a new company with a long history. It is set up and owned by the Finnish National Lottery; Veikkaus. Fennica Gaming is a B2B company focusing on international offering of real money gaming solutions and services. You would be directly employed by Veikkaus and would be working with the Fennica Gaming team.

The Ecosystem & Platform team at Fennica Gaming is a dynamic and fast-paced group responsible for building and managing essential partner networks and ecosystems, outsourced game development capabilities, development of Fennica Gaming’s data and analytics services, and ecosystem services.

The team is focused on delivering high-quality products and services that drive growth and success for Fennica Gaming and our customers. In this role, you get the benefits of a large company with the advantages of a smaller firm.

At the minimum, we are looking for someone who already has proven professional experience in

React, TypeScript and REST
hands-on experience in backend development and willingness to learn more, preferably with NestJS

Experience from the following would be beneficial:

Participating / leading software development of internal and external developers/teams
Solid understanding of product development and agile working methods
Ability to handle many simultaneous development initiatives and talent to perform this juggling act with a positive mind
Effective communication and interaction skills in English. Finnish is a definitive plus
A suitable degree, or otherwise acquired the right competence and 3-5 years of experience on software development
