What you will be doing:

• Take ownership and technical leadership over the software asset
• Drive and handle platform activities and updates to ensure everything stays fresh and top quality
• Respond to changes in environment, infrastructure, platform, compliancy related documentation and help customer support
• Solve complex issues together with different teams
• Drive architectural activities in collaboration with the iOS lead developer
• Participate in feature design together with the team
• Develop and test new features in Nordea's mobile applications & related services

You will join a team of talented and experienced engineers. The position is located in Oulu.

• Are able to gain a high level overview of the software asset, related tools and processes to be able to solve issues across team and feature boundaries
• Are able to lead & mentor others in the community, making sure common practices are followed and highest quality maintained
• Possess a quality mindset and thorough understanding of test automation
• Finally, you understand the importance of good communication skills while being a member of a high performing team

Your experience and background:

• Several years of Android application development experience with Java and Kotlin
• Previous experience from a leading technical role
• Experience working with/on RESTful web services
• Understanding of software engineering practicalities and related tools to effectively lead the work in codebases with large number of contributors
