Finnish Transport Safety Agency (Trafi) carries out architecture work for supporting development, project management and project portfolio planning, and as the starting point for ICT development. Trafi uses an architecture tool for Enterprise Architecture (EA) and project/solution architecture modeling and publication. Currently Sparx Enterprise Architect (version 13) is used. Shared SQL-based repository is in use for storing architectural data. Current number of architecture tool users is 10. Modelers include both Trafi employees and consultants. There are hundreds of elements, relationships and diagrams in the architecture repository. Mainly ArchiMate 2 and UML notations are used. Architecture content is published to intranet as html pages. The purpose is to procure an architecture tool that fulfills Trafi’s needs. The procurement includes licenses, and support for implementing and using the tool. The procurement includes the following parts. The supplier should be able to provide all of the parts listed. 1.
