About this opportunity 

Welcome to the Nordea Digital. We create online services to millions of our Mobile and Web bank customers. Your role is to improve and expand this experience by implement in web frontend. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• You will design, create and improve micro-apps & modules that power our web platform and use microservices underneath 
• You are expected to take ownership of the code in your service area and ensure quality of the implementation 
• You will also plan and coordinate the development effort with relevant stakeholders and other developers 

The role is based in Helsinki, Finland. You’ll join a team of experienced professionals, who are able to help and assist you in your work. The team will deliver full features from services to UI. Your role is based on your interest and there are opportunities even outside of your field of expertise. You can work remotely with a possibility to commute to our Helsinki (Vallila) office if needed. This is a new permanent position, and we hope you could start in September or during fall 2022.

Your experience and background: 

• Several years of professional experience in Angular development  
• Proficient in Typescript, Javascript, Java, Spring Boot 
• Proficient in utilizing microservices 
• Proficient with Atlassian tools 
• Experience from end-to-end product development is seen as a benefit 

What we offer 

You will be joining to Samppa’s team, where we have about 10 team members currently. Team is responsible of Cards and Notifications, and we provide end-to-end service. This means planning, developing, updating, maintaining and improving our Mobile and Web products.
