Readpeak Oy is looking for a Software Engineer to strengthen their small team of tech professionals in Helsinki. In this position you will develop our existing product, Readpeak DSP platform. Our goal is to make native advertising as simple and easy as possible for advertisers and agencies to create smart and strong native advertising campaigns.

At the beginning, our tech team will give you an introduction to our tech stack and ways of working. You will then start focusing on hands-on programming and develop the Readpeak platform further while we grow into bigger markets. Your tasks can be modified according to your interests and skills – you can build your expertise in frontend, backend or full stack development. We are currently working with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, SQL, PHP and Node.js. 

You are the person we are looking for if you have previous work experience in programming and solid skills with JavaScript. Previous experience in the ad-tech industry is seen as an advantage but not necessary. We don’t expect you to know everything – we can provide you with training and support for learning new technologies. You will fit our team if you have a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills. 

We require you to have: 

-Previous work experience in programming - we are also welcoming senior level developers as the role can be customized to your background

-Solid skills in JavaScript

-Proactive attitude and excellent communication skills

-Fluent English skills

 We consider as an asset:

-Experience in the ad-tech industry 

-Relevant educational background in IT 

-Skills with some of the following: TypeScript, React, SQL, Node.js., PHP, DevOps and/or AWS
