Epec is a heavily developing and growing technology company in the area of control systems, electromobility and autonomous vehicles. We understand that the successful component and service procurement plays an essential role in this growth path. Now we are looking for a Head of Sourcing to our sourcing team. You can be situated in Seinäjoki, Tampere, Turku or Kuopio.

In this position you will have full responsibility of the sourcing strategy execution and development, sourcing spend management including direct and indirect purchases, as well as supplier management, performance evaluation and development. The Head of Sourcing is responsible for ensuring material availability, leading Epec sourcing team professionals, developing the operations and competence. In addition, you shall participate to product development projects taking the responsibility of contract negotiations, procurement risk management and supplier validations and selections. You will be a part of our Supply Chain team which assures a high-quality, accurate and cost-efficient value delivery to our customers. In this position, you will have an opportunity to work in a cross-functional role with external and internal stakeholders.

We expect you to have an applicable education and at least 5 years of experience in similar tasks, preferably with electronic and/or electric component sourcing in a manufacturing environment. We value an analytical, proactive, and target-oriented way of working. You should be familiar with supplier contract management and have financial understanding of common cost structure and TOC (total cost of ownership). We appreciate flexibility, ability to handle multiple tasks and an attitude toward continuous improvement. The ability to negotiate and communicate in both English and in Finnish is essential for this position. This position requires occasional travelling.
