About this opportunity 

Welcome to One Digital, the biggest banking platform in the Nordics! You will join an awesome group of people from across the world, that delivers solutions to our customers in a never seen before pace, ensuring that Nordea will become the frontrunner in digital banking services. One Digital owns most mass-distributed frontends and related API development for Nordea customers. You will be working as part of One Digital organization with great colleagues who believe in Agile and DevOps ways of working to the core. You will have the opportunity to build and improve the future software delivery platforms and infrastructure for some of the most exciting digital banking solutions for Nordea’s household & corporate customers. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Design and build production grade Kubernetes cluster keeping HA mindset 
• Maintain software release deployment platforms & pipelines for exciting digital banking solutions  
• Support development teams’ day-to-day work in terms of CI/CD and infrastructure of the platform 
• Automate mundane activities throughout the delivery and deployment platform to ensure quality, efficiency and reliability of our deployments 
• Contribute to the continuous optimization of our delivery platforms 
• Design and implement state of the art monitoring & alerting systems supporting the delivery platforms hosting our digital solutions 
• Ensure the high availability, resiliency, scalability and capacity utilization of the applications while working closely with the development teams 

The role is based on Helsinki. This is a permanent full-time role.

Who you are

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have experience in following:

• Production at scale experience of running Kubernetes workloads
• Experience in handling Continuous Delivery of large-scale software solutions involving complex dependencies
• Programming experience in Python, Go, Java or other languages
• Enterprise Container platforms (Mirantis Kubernetes Engine/ Redhat Openshift or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and improving them (Jenkins or similar)
• Experience with Monitoring & alerting tools (Prometheus, Splunk, AppDynamics, InfluxDB, Grafana etc )
• Eager to learn and to solve challenges
• Fluency in communicating in English

These following skills are appreciated, but we can also teach you these: 

• Experience with Ingress controllers and Service Meshes
• Experience with Service discovery systems (Consul, etcd)
• Bring canary deployments/Support blue-green development in practice
• Networking concepts (routes, subnets, ports, firewalls, etc.) and tools
