Coinmotion is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their growing team of 17 tech experts! In this role you will be responsible for the development project of renewing the Coinmotion platform. Our current platform enables cryptocurrency transactions for users, but as the service range expands, the platform’s architecture will be renewed to enable more versatile features. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be a central link between the developers and the business, transforming business requirements into platform specifications and ensuring that the new functionalities meet the future business needs. 

After familiarizing yourself with your team, tools and the culture at Coinmotion, you will take responsibility for coordinating and documenting the platform development. You will use GitLab to organize ticketing and to maintain technical project documentation. Working closely with the developers will help you to understand the software architecture and the requirements of the new platform. Once you have gained knowledge about the platform structure, you will take the ownership of communicating the platform's new functionalities and resource requirements with the management. 

We are looking for someone with a few years of relevant work experience and understanding of software architecture. The right person has the ability to think from both a technical and business perspective, translating information into concrete measures. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders and therefore excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential for the role. Coinmotion has great remote working possibilities but we would like you to be ready to join the team physically at least occasionally in either Helsinki, Jyväskylä or Tampere office.

We hope you to have: 

-A few years of relevant work experience (e.g. as a Product Owner, Technical Project Manager or Software Developer)

-General understanding of software architecture

-Ability to absorb technical information and to create clear documentation out of it 

-Excellent people skills 

-Proficiency in English

 We consider as an asset:

-Skills in some of the following: GitLab, PHP, Golang, MySQL and/or PostgreSQL

-Understanding of cryptocurrencies and FinTech industry

-Finnish language skills
