Our Group ICT organisation is searching for a new member of the professional and multinational team for the position of
BUSINESS ANALYST / DATA SCIENTIST
As a Business Analyst / Data Scientist you will be in key role in Kiilto’s transformation to data driven company.
Your most valuable asset is your enthusiasm to data modelling. If, during your career, you have been in your comfort zone in transforming complex data sources into understandable visualisations and reports, this could be your next challenge. In this role, you tackle problems and find solutions that make our business more efficient. You will take lead on Kiilto’s data architecture and you will run our reporting environment transformation projects. You will be part of our multinational ICT Team, collaborate with the Finance team and local business organisations in Kiilto countries.
As work requires some travel (virtual and/or actual), mainly in Finland and Scandinavia, at least a slightly adventurous mindset would be advantageous. Your ideal location would be Tampere area, Turku or Helsinki. You will report to the Group CIO.
This job could be ideal for you if your background includes the following:
- A Master’s level university degree in a relevant subject
- At least 3-5 years’ experience of challenging data-architecture and BI processes
- Ability to understand and model complex business processes
- You have been involved in data-warehouse development and you have understanding of modern ways of managing and storing data
- Hands-on knowledge of reporting systems (Qlikview/Sense, PowerBI)
- Experience of data management in complex ICT environments
- Fluent written and spoken English and Finnish, other languages are considered an asset (Russian, Swedish)
