Your future responsibilities

Welcome to Local Systems Finland! We add value by translating business needs to operational and software requirements, and verify their validity and priority. As the IT analyst, you will play a valuable role in actively contributing to the collaboration between business and IT, and drive requirement engineering work.

What you’ll be doing:

• Documenting and communicating functional and non-functional requirements
• Defining business requirements together with business areas, creating and building IT requirements together with the team
• Approaching our stakeholders proactively and continuously reviewing requirements in order to get them clarified and fully understood
• Acting as a professional requirement specialist who understands the banking business, as well as the beauty of the IT world
• You’ll carry out a transparent process for requirements and support the wholeness of the development process so by securing requirements traceability through end-to-end development
• Driving change initiatives and facilitate stakeholder collaboration

This is a permanent position and starting time is flexible between September and October 2022. We have 2 senior IT analyst roles open.

• Have business and/or technical background (no coding skills needed)
• Have analytical and requirement specification skills (functional and non-functional)
• Have the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
• Possess ability to adapt in changing situation
• Are self-driven and you can prioritize your work

Your experience and background:

• Experience in IT and/or business analysis
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Familiar with international collaboration and multicultural working environment

Good to have:

• Experience in agile way of working and methods (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience in financial services is considered as an advantage

What we offer

One of the teams you would join consist of about 20 professionals. Team members operate under titles IT analyst and developer, but underneath these titles you will find the most heart-warming, smart, knowledge-sharing colleagues. Many of us have a background in Information Systems or Computer Science, and some of us have been at Nordea long enough to remember how to build core-systems with IBM and HP NonStop tools. These open positions do not require coding skills, we are expanding our team towards system requirement.
