Our energic IT Business Engagement and Solutions team has open position for
IT BUSINESS PARTNER
You will play an important role in business relationship management with Patria business functions. Your in-house counterparts will be every Patrian from the senior management to shop floor worker. You will be leading IT demand management, IT solution discovery and IT services realization.
In your responsibilities are supporting business functions on technical matters including managing new initiatives and participating business and process development.
You have exceptional relationships building skills and you are enthusiastic in owning the IT technology roadmap for the business functions. You will work closely with Patria IT Enterprise Architecture to ensure functional needs across the organization will be taken into account in big picture.
You have experience of business development, creating compelling business cases for improvement and delivering technology against strategy.
Your practical, logical, innovative and can-do attitude will be an absolute plus as will your strategic thinking and strong interest in the future of technology and how it can benefit our business.
In this position you would have the support of the whole team and your fellow IT Business Partners to support you at the beginning. Your personal skills, strengths and background will be taken into account when defining the responsibilities and tasks as the IT Business Partner.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Act as the primary “face of IT” for certain business functions and stakeholders becoming a trusted partner.
- Maintain a good knowledge and understanding how the business functions and actively track changing business objectives, goals and strategies.
- Partner with relevant business development forums, stakeholders and proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
- Execute proactive business requirements gathering.
- Coordinate new demand management and turn them to IT changes and projects.
- Build the business case with the business function and drive the solution selection.
- Able to take lead of critical projects, changes and initiatives.
- Ensuring that the best solutions are delivered which match both the business and technology strategy & needs.
- Promote IT services, new technologies and capabilities to business.
- Provide technology consulting support and guidance through key IT initiatives.
- Provide support in delivering technology products, services and projects that meet the needs of the business.
- Business satisfaction and value realization towards assigned business functions.
- Collaborate with IT business delivery, communicate business decisions, priorities and relevant information to appropriate levels of IT staff regarding business’ requests and projects and initiatives.
Required competencies
- Proven Business and/or IT development experience
- Able to manage expectations and committing to delivery
- IT architecture understanding
- Technical background (IT services and / or business applications)
- Excellent networking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both with business functions and IT
- Industry regulatory & compliance requirements
- Fluent English.
Location: Negotiable.
Reports to Director, Business Engagement and Solutions.
