Fluent is specialised in mobile solutions for enterprise resource planning and work management. Our products enable diverse data collection through mobile devices as well as analysing and transferring data between systems. Fluent produces solutions for mobile work management, digitalizing processes and reporting. Our clients operate in road maintenance, property maintenance, sanitation, and construction industries. Fluent Kunto product line is the market leader in road and street maintenance in Finland. We have offices in Joensuu and Espoo.

Fluent Progress is now looking for a Frontend Developer to strengthen the team and to contribute to the company’s growth also internationally! If you’d like to be a part of an agile team of developers boosting infrastructure maintenance by creating top-class digital tools, this might be your spot. 

In this role your tasks include further developing the two main product families (Fluent Construction and Fluent Kunto) and the client assignments. You will work closely with other developers and a graphic designer and you will have a strong impact on the visuality and UX of the products. You will create new features and functionalities as well as develop further the existing ones.

This role adapts to your abilities - you get to shine in the things you are at your best and develop where you still want to improve yourself. As an ideal candidate, you understand users and usability and have a sensibility for visual detail. You have a good knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript and some modern framework) and are motivated to learn more. We believe that new skills will be learned and old ones will be deepened while working. Nevertheless, we are especially excited if you have some experience also in Redux and/or TypeScript. 

We hope that you have: 

• Understanding of the user interface and usability and have a sensibility for visual detail
• Skills in JavaScript and some modern framework (e.g. React)
• A few years of relevant work experience
• Fluent communication skills in English

• Skills in Redux and/or TypeScript
• Finnish language skills
