About this opportunity

Welcome to the Data Systems team. We add value by creating solutions that support our mission of democratizing data access and make it possible for customers and staff to benefit from Nordea's rich and unique data. We are now looking for an application owner to strengthen our “Application Ownership” team. We are providing a very technical solution used by stakeholders like marketing, data and AI teams at Nordea. 

What you will be doing:

• Drive the application portfolio. You will own an application portfolio made up of applications in the Cloud Marketing space. You will have an overview of owned applications from an aggregated perspective with focus on Information Security, Risk and Compliance, Operations and application functionality. You will have the overview of the overall status of applications you own, working closely with IT Operations and understanding needed actions.
• Keep our applications safe and trusted. As an application owner, you are accountable for owned applications being delivered according to internal and external rules and regulations. This is secured by following internal processes and ways of working.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you must enjoy collaborating with stakeholders internally in Data Systems, but also the business representatives utilizing the services we provide. You continuously gather input from both an operational- and business- perspective to understand risks, challenges and improvement needs, giving input to the application lifecycle roadmap.
• Act as a subject matter expert. Participate in initiatives and projects related to changing owned applications, securing that quality and integrity of the owned applications are preserved.

You'll join a newly established team, with dedicated and experienced colleagues where you will have the opportunity to be part of establishing a well functioning application ownership team.  This role is based in either Stockholm, Copenhagen or Helsinki. Please indicate your preference in your application. This is a permanent new role.

We believe you enjoy being the person having detailed discussions about operational IT deliveries, while also being able to communicate and drive needed decisions in a clear and structured way. On a day to day basis you can for example analyze application data, configure tools, and drive our application portfolio.
• You enjoy the freedom of taking on a large responsibility. A clear target picture is usually all that is needed for you, and you enjoy finding your own ways to reach your targets. You work in a structured and result-oriented way, being able to coordinate multiple tasks in parallel.

Your experience and background: 

• Experience working with data management and cloud marketing solutions e.g. Adobe and Salesforce platforms
• Experience configuring tools
• Experience as a driver (i.e. project manager, agile lead or equivalent)
• Experience in working closely with IT Operations with complex issues/questions
• Experience in the data management area
• Beneficial if you have experience translating business request into technical requirements and communicating in easy, understandable way with business and tech stakeholders
• Fluent in English (professional level) and local language skills are an advantage
• Bachelor's or Master's degree or relevant education and experience
