Aibidia is a start-up on a mission to revolutionize transfer pricing. Our cloud-based platform helps companies, advisors and tax authorities optimize all aspects of transfer pricing, from documentation to analytics. We are bringing AI and automation to this critical finance function, which has traditionally been burdened by the enormous workload of creating hundreds of thousands of pages of documentation each year. Aibidia’s experts in tax and cloud software have developed the #1 digital transfer pricing solution in the market, rapidly gaining international clients from across a wide range of industries.

Aibidia is now looking for a part-time (min. 2 days a week) or a full-time Junior Backend Developer to join their growing and ambitious team in Helsinki (other locations in Finland negotiable)! In this role you will work in close collaboration with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the entire Product Development Team, contributing to the development of the cloud-based Transfer Pricing SaaS solution. Aibidia’s Research & Development team consists of 20 people, whose goal is to provide an excellent user experience by extending and maintaining the Aibidia solution. 

As a Junior Backend Developer, you will participate in the backend software development. Moreover, you will participate in implementing technical requirements on different levels from epic to task. There are many development opportunities for an ambitious individual to become an expert in the field and develop skills for different kinds of roles (fullstack, cloud, project management etc.).

The right person for this role has strong skills in C# and has possibly used the .Net framework before (even though this is not required). We also value experience with data processing and databases that you have gained in your studies or in your own projects. Other technologies that are useful to understand to get a full picture of Product Development team’s responsibilities are modern JavaScript frameworks (we use mainly Vue.js) and Azure or other public clouds. You will work closely with various stakeholders and therefore good collaboration skills are required.

We hope you to have: 

• A relevant study background in Computer, Communication / Information Sciences or equivalent (you can be a student or a recent graduate)
• Good skills in C# / .NET Core
• Skills in working with databases & data processing (with SQL)
• An analytical and ambitious mindset
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal

We consider a plus:

• Success in studies that require logical problem solving and mathematical skills
• Some previous work experience in IT
• experience in .Net framework
