Veikkaus Design Studio is looking for a (Senior) Software Developer for full-time employment 

We are a team of enthusiastic developers and designers that create Veikkaus slot machines, supporting devices and software. We love applying new technologies to our products and experimenting with old ones. At the Design Studio, we design and develop everything from start to finish – device, platform and front end – to make a great Veikkaus gaming experience. 

You fit right in if you have experience with modern C++ (about 5 years) and know Qt and QML UI technologies. It would be great if you were a Linux-type-of-person and have an understanding of implementing CI/CD best practices. Feeling ownership and being motivated in creating and publishing software is a must. 

It’s an extra bonus if you are interested in data-driven design and/or personalisation of software. Also, any experience in graphical compositor development (Wayland), understanding of shader development, REST interface development or simply game development will give you a head start. 

Your main responsibilities would be to implement new features (and maybe fix some old ones) for our slot machine interface. Veikkaus has slot machines all over the country so if you like to see your own work this is a great opportunity for that too. We don’t want to give a narrow description of your work here; we’ll develop your position according to your interest and talent.
