ITSM Application Manager

We are looking for an experienced ICT expert to work as the Application Manager of the new IT Service Management system in Veikkaus’ Business Solutions unit. The Business Solutions unit is responsible for providing joint, group-level ICT and system services for the needs of various operations and subsidiary within Veikkaus. As we deploy the cutting-edge Efecte ITSM system, we need a skilled professional to take charge of its management and optimization.

We expect you to have several years of technical expertise and experience in the management, maintenance and development of an ITSM system. Your area of responsibility includes being responsible of the ITSM system. 

As an ITSM Application Manager:

• You will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the Efecte ITSM system. This includes configuration, customization, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• As a key member of our project team, you will actively contribute to the successful deployment of the Efecte ITSM system. Your insights and expertise will be crucial during the implementation phase.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of the ITSM system into our organization. You also participate in ITSM supplier management and collaboration.
• Identify areas for process improvement within the ITSM framework and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• You actively participate in the development of your own and your team’s operations and service processes.
• You participate in the team’s operational planning and cost monitoring of your area of responsibility.
• You participate in projects within your area of responsibility. 

From the person selected for the position, we require:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent competence acquired in some other way. 
• Previous experience in a responsible role with ITSM and/or ESM systems, including CMDB expertise, integration skills.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing ITSM tools (Efecte experience preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Good oral and written communication in both Finnish and English. 
• IT Service Management Competence e.g. ITIL and SIAM.

As strong advantages, we consider:

• Competence in identity and access rights management.
• Experience and knowledge of one or more of the following systems: Efecte, Oracle Integration Cloud.
• IT architecture expertise.
• Experience and ability to operate in an international group environment.
• Experience in ITSM/ESM implementation projects is also considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills and a positive attitude in a changing operating environment.
