DevOps Tools Engineer 

for full-time employment

We are looking for DevOps Tools Engineer (CI/CD) to join our team. We want you take responsibility of Veikkaus DevOps tools development, maintenance and administration tasks together with very skillful colleagues. By providing DevOps tools as a service for application development teams we enable our application development teams to focus on development tasks. 

In addition to knowhow of DevOps tools you should be motivated team player, who understands objectives of work and is capable to communicate his/her views to different stakeholders. We invite you to join our supportive and professional team, which key objective is to develop and maintain high class engineering tools and platforms for application development teams. The team shares the responsibilities and knowledge between experts in modern and self-organized way in close co-operation with stake holders.

We expect that you have some working experience of DevOps tools, like development, maintenance or administration tasks and you are familiar with DevOps way of working, or alternatively you might have development experience or you have been working with public cloud environments. We appreciate if you are willing to continuously learn new things, we will support personal development by providing training and development possibilities.

Main tasks in your DevOps Tools Engineer role:

• various tasks related Veikkaus DevOps tools
• working with following technologies and processes: GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Splunk, CI/CD, software version and release management
• participating in many developments projects as a DevOps tools expert.

We expect from you

• knowhow of DevOps tools
• experience of modern software development methods (DevOps) and possibly also software development experience
• preferably relevant formal training, for example bachelor of computer science or similar
• at least basic knowhow of information security and public cloud environments
• service and teamwork oriented, self-imposed working attitude
• fluent English or Finnish language skills.
