Senior Developer (Design Studio)

Veikkaus Design Studio is a forerunner in applying new technologies and bold experimentation when it comes to development of devices and platforms for multi-channel gaming experience. We are now looking for a Senior Developer to join our agile design and development team. 

As part of the team, you will be responsible for developing the technological solutions, and best practices for our current and future gaming platform products. 

Main responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing new features to the slot machine platform – in close co-operation with Veikkaus other development teams. 
• Evaluating and implementing new technologies that will take our land-based operations to the next level

Successful candidates will have:

• At least several years of experience with modern C++ 
• Experience in developing REST interfaces
• Knowledge and understanding of Linux environment
• Proven track record from software development

Considered as a plus:

• Experience with modern C++ standards (C++17/20)
• Knowledge of backend development
• Familiarity working with large code bases
• Python scripting experience
• Experience with Qt/QML

Our office is located in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki, Finland. We are working with hybrid model and developing our ways of working constantly.
