MagiCAD is now looking for a driven and organized Project & Team Lead to join the small and devoted team in Turku! As a Project & Team Lead, your team consists of ten motivated and independent developers - from new hires to senior developers and project managers - and the teams’ mission is to create and improve solutions for MagiCAD’s long-term client.

As a Project & Team Lead, your main target is to ensure not only smooth and efficient project management but also the wellbeing and performance of your team. On one hand, you take general ownership of the projects related to the client and you act as a link between the customer needs and your team. On the other hand, you act as a Team Lead and have a crucial role in supporting your team and helping them to succeed in their daily work by facilitating and removing obstacles to their success. More specifically, your daily tasks can vary from weekly project meetings and one-to-one talks with the team members to general project management and interaction with the client and other key stakeholders. The role can be modified based on your personal strengths and interests - for example, you can take part in developing the solutions or focus more on project management. 

Our ideal candidate for this role would be an energetic and positive team player with a proven track record in project management; you have worked the client interface before and you already have gained insight on effective project management. You are a natural communicator and you have a service-minded, but steady style of interaction. Since you’ll be working closely with MagiCAD’s solutions, a technical mindset is a must; prior experience in software and HVAC solutions is seen as an asset. Above all, we value your willingness to learn more and develop MagiCAD’s ways of working even further.

We hope you have at least the following qualities:

-Relevant educational background 

-Previous work experience in project management

-Good organization skills and self-driven working style

-Technical mindset and interest in software solutions

-Fluent communication and interaction skills in English

 We consider as an asset:

-Previous experience as working as a Team Lead

-Familiarity with agile working practices

-Fluency in Finnish
