We are looking for DevOps tools Engineer/Specialist for full-time employment

Are you familiar with modern application development? Are you inspired to develop automated tools and methods for application development? You may be an experienced professional or just starting your professional career.

Veikkaus is raising DevOps tools team from 3 to 5 professionals in order to enhance and speed up application development. We have just consolidated most of the application development in unified DevOps platform, which will be utilized for further integration, automation, security, and transparency of the application development.

We invite you to join our supportive and highly professional team, which key objective is to develop and maintain high class engineering tools and platforms for application development teams. 

We expect following:

• understanding and knowledge of modern application development process/environment
• some experience in public cloud platforms e.g. GCP or AWS
• knowhow and experience of Linux environments
• knowledge of container technology (e.g Docker)

Beneficial competence/experience:

• GitLab or similar tools and CI/CD knowhow or experience
• knowledge of Kubernetes
• experience in Terraform technology
• application or script/tools development experience

Our office is located in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki, Finland, but also remote working is possible. Selected person(s) needs to have permanent residence in Finland.

Veikkaus as a company will perform a security clearance check (According to the Act on Security Clearance (726/2014)) to the person selected for the position.
