Senior Web Developer

We at Fennica Gaming are looking for a Senior Web Developer for full-time employment.

As a Senior Web Developer within Fennica Gaming, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of one of our key platforms, Fortune. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is at the forefront of innovation and technology within the gambling industry.

You would be part of the Ecosystem & Platform team at Fennica Gaming, which is a dynamic and fast-paced group responsible for building and managing essential partner networks and ecosystems, outsourced game development capabilities, development of Fennica Gaming’s data and analytics services, and ecosystem services. Our team is focused on delivering high-quality products and services that drive growth and success for Fennica Gaming and our B2B customers. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain one of Fennica Gaming’s key platforms.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including our B2B customers, to ensure that their needs are met.
• Guide and coordinate the work of others in your area of responsibility.
• Act on your own initiative to complete tasks and interact with necessary parties.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Build and maintain capabilities and tools for internal and B2B customers.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in web development
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with one or more popular web frameworks such as React
• Experience with database design and management using MySQL or similar systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good coordination, communication, and interaction skills in English 
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or otherwise acquired appropriate competence and experience on the related fields.

These things are considered as advantages:

• Interest in games, game technologies and data driven game development
• Understanding of the gambling or gaming industry and its unique data and analytics requirements
• Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, specifically AWS or GCP
• Understanding of data governance and data privacy regulations
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI
