Our hardware development team is seeking a Hardware Development Engineer who will be working as an electronics testing specialist / layout / schematics designer, depending on your personal strengths. You can be based at our office in Seinäjoki or in Tampere. If you would be located in Tampere, you should be prepared for frequent travelling to Seinäjoki e.g. for lab work.

We are looking for an experienced member to our hardware design team, where we can offer interesting hands-on development work and the ability to enhance your expertise. Our team has a wide variety of tasks and we can tailor the position to best suit your expertise and our needs. The development team is responsible for products in Epec’s product portfolio, as well as OEM tailored, and other custom hardware designs. Ownership by Ponsse, the world-leading forest machinery manufacturer, brings stability and interesting collaboration projects to our team.

We expect you to have a minimum of 5 yeears experience with electronics product development and one or more strong fields of expertise to complement our team portfolio. You should have an interest to improve your competence continuously, to answer the needs of latest technologies. To fit in with our team you should be a team player with good sense of humor!

In addition, we appreciate if you have some of these desired features: Functional safety in machinery; analysis tools related, Electronics electrical testing expertise, RF expertise, Simulation expertise, Requirement based product design, Comfortable with Altium designer, Automotive/machinery electrical system level knowledge, EV / hybrid powertrains, AI / high power calculating units.
