Fastems is now looking for an IT Architect, Infrastructure & Security to join their team in Tampere! In this role you will get to work on developing and implementing global ICT infrastructure together with service providers. You will be joining an international team of 5 professionals.

As an IT Architect you will be responsible for ICT infrastructure and security (physical and cyber) related development at Fastems group. In terms of infrastructure, you will be responsible for managing and implementing networks, servers and end user services and the architectural design. In relation to security, you will participate comprehensively in the design and implementation of the security architecture, e.g. performing security assessments, identify gaps in existing security architecture, and recommend changes or improvements. In this role you will focus on both operational IT infrastructure management and strategy, ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout all the processes.

We are looking for someone who has relevant previous work experience in IT infrastructure and security. ‌As a person, you have an independent and proactive attitude, strong communication skills and strong analytical and problem solving skills. Fluent English skills are essential for the role as you will be collaborating with service providers and internal teams.

We require you to have:

- Several years of relevant work experience, (e.g. in IT architecture, System Administration,or Information security)

- Proven experience in systems design and development

- In-depth technical knowledge of network, PC and platform operating systems

- Good knowledge of IT security standards

- Good communication skills and ability to manage service providers and stakeholders

- Fluent skills in English, both written and verbal

We consider as an asset:

- Relevant educational background (e.g. in Information technology or Information security)

- Certifications in cyber security

- Understanding of IT solutions and infrastructures in an industrial environment

- Skills in Finnish language
