Configuration Management process responsible

RekryilmoitusWe are looking for a member to our IT Service Management team to develop, maintain and support our configuration management process. The role focuses on keeping configuration management data up to date mainly by developing (semi-)automated lifecycle processes.

You will be mostly working with people (gathering process development needs for example), but also manual data correction is required. Long term objective is to keep data "fresh" by using integrations when possible or make key users to be able to maintain data integrity.

You will be a member of IT Service Management team. ITSM team is working together to develop and support selected ITSM-processes. ServiceNow will be your main tool.

You will mostly be working with the following topics:

Development: Gathering feedback for development requirements. Facilitating development for new uses for Configuration management. Configuration Management data model development to match CSC needs

Maintaining: Monitoring configuration management data integrity. Managing CMDB Data model and Configuration Item relationships. Knowledge Base management together with ITSM team. Facilitating configuration audits to ensure data validity.

Supporting: Responding end user support requests regarding Configuration Management. Communicating and arrange trainings about Configuration Management usage and new features. Providing reports for variety of use cases.

Generic ITSM process responsible responsibilities: To Act as the primary contact point for the process. Maintaining the process documentation and ensuring it is available and known by relevant persons. Monitoring the overall process functionality. Reporting the process performance to the process owner. Acting as secondary for other Service Management processes in the service management team

We appreciate the following competencies:

• IT Service Management (FITSM or ITIL), preferably certification trainings completed

• Training and Communication skills

• Development skills

As part of the application process, the selected candidate will be subject to a basic level security clearance, passing of which is a precondition for entering into an employment relationship.
